Ken Nah is a professor in the Design Management Department at IDAS (International Design School) of Hongik University and serve as the Director of IDTC (International Design Trend Center).
With a unique background as one of the few engineering-trained design professors in South Korea, he aims to bridge the gap between the left-brain thinking of an engineer and the right-brain creativity of a designer to foster innovative thinking.
His journey includes roles such as an assistant in the Industrial Engineering Department at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST), a researcher in the Defense Acquisition and Resource Management Division at KIDA (Korea Institute for Defense Analyses), and a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at TUFTS University. Since 2000, he’s been working at Hongik University’s IDAS.
