PRIVACY POLICY

<Korean Federation of Design Industry Associations> (hereinafter referred to as 'KODIA') has the following to protect users' personal information and rights and interests in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act, and to handle users' complaints related to personal information smoothly We have the same treatment policy. When KODIA revises the privacy policy, it will be notified through the website notice (or individual notice).

○ This policy will be effective from May 15, 2022.

1. Purpose of processing personal information

KODIA uses the collected personal information for the following purposes.

1) Service provision: identity verification, award-related content provision, award submission acceptance, award result notification, fee payment, etc.

2) Membership registration and management: Confirmation of intention to sign up for membership in accordance with membership service use, personal identification, maintenance and management of membership, prevention of illegal use of services, confirmation of age, confirmation of consent of a legal representative when processing personal information of children under the age of 14 , various notices and notices, complaint handling, etc.

3) Civil complaint handling: personal information access, personal information correction/deletion, request to suspend processing of personal information, report on personal information leakage, receipt and handling of reports of personal information infringement, identification of civil complaints, confirmation of complaints, contact for fact investigation Notification, processing result notification, etc.

2. Personal information items to be processed

1) KODIA collects and retains personal information only in accordance with the provisions of laws and regulations and the consent of the information subject.

2) The items of personal information that KODIA collects and holds in accordance with laws and regulations are as follows.

- Required items for personal information: name, ID, password, E-mail

<Service provision>
- Required items for personal information: name, ID, password, address, phone number, E-mail, country information, company name, company address, company phone number, name of person in charge, phone number in charge, E-mail in charge, information on entry, credit card number
- Personal information optional items: company classification, website address

3) KODIA may automatically create and collect the following personal information items in the process of using the Internet service.
- IP address, cookie, MAC address, service use record, visit record, bad use record, etc.

4) Member Subscribers have the right to refuse consent, and if they do not agree to the collection of the minimum personal information necessary to provide the service, the service cannot be used.

3. Processing and retention period

1) Personal information processed by the Federation is processed within the scope specified for the purpose of collection and use, and KODIA complies with the retention period set by relevant laws such as the Personal Information Protection Act.

2) Personal information processing and retention period are as follows.

4. Rights and obligations of information subjects and legal representatives and methods of exercise

1) The information subject can exercise the right to view, correct, delete, and suspend processing of personal information at any time with respect to the association.

2) The exercise of the above rights can be done in writing, by e-mail, or by fax (FAX) by writing a separate request form to the association, and KODIA will take action immediately after confirming the identity.

3) Rights can be exercised through an agent such as a legal representative of the information subject or a person who has been delegated. In this case, you must submit a power of attorney in the form of Attachment No. 11 of the Enforcement Regulations of the Personal Information Protection Act.

4) The rights of the information subject may be restricted in accordance with Articles 35 (5) and 37 (2) of the Personal Information Protection Act for requests to view and stop processing of personal information.

5) Request for correction and deletion of personal information cannot be requested if the personal information is specified as a collection target in other laws.

6) KODIA confirms whether the person who made the request for reading, correction/deletion, or suspension of processing according to the rights of the information subject is the person or a legitimate agent.

5. Matters concerning the destruction of personal information

In principle, KODIA destroys the information without delay after the retention period has elapsed or the purpose of collecting and using personal information has been achieved. The destruction procedure and method are as follows.

1) Destruction procedure : When KODIA achieves the purpose of collecting personal information, all collected personal information will be deleted without delay and will not be viewed or used for any purpose. However, if it is required to be preserved in accordance with other laws, the personal information transferred to a separate DB will not be used for any other purpose other than being retained except in cases pursuant to the law.

2) Destruction method: When destroying personal information processed by KODIA, it is destroyed in the following way.
- In the case of an electronic file: Permanently deleted in a way that cannot be restored
- In the case of records, printed materials, writing and other recording media other than the form of electronic files: Shred or incinerate

6. Measures to ensure the safety of personal information

KODIA is taking the following measures to ensure the safety of personal information.

1) Administrative measures: establishment and implementation of internal management plans, regular employee training, etc.

2) Technical measures: management of access rights such as personal information processing system, installation of an access control system, encryption of unique identification information, etc., installation of security programs

3) Physical measures: Control access to computer rooms, data storage rooms, etc.

7. Matters concerning the installation, operation and rejection of automatic personal information collection devices

1) KODIA uses 'cookies' that store and retrieve usage information from time to time to provide users with individually customized services.

2) Cookies are a small amount of information sent by the server (http) used to operate the website to the user's computer browser and are also stored on the hard disk of the user's PC computer.

① Purpose of use of cookies: These are used to provide optimized information to users by identifying the types of visits and usage of each service and website visited by the user, popular search terms, and whether or not secure access is available.
② Installation, operation, and rejection of cookies: You can refuse to store cookies by setting the options in the Tools>Internet Options>Personal Information menu at the top of the web browser.
③ If you refuse to store cookies, you may experience difficulties in using customized services.

2) The information subject can inquire about all personal information protection related inquiries, complaint handling, damage relief, etc. that occurred while using the service (or business) of the Association to the person in charge of personal information protection and the department in charge. KODIA will respond and handle inquiries from information subjects without delay.

9. Changes to the Privacy Policy

1) This personal information processing policy is effective from the date of commencement on May 15, 2022.
